The 40th Annual Delta Ag Expo will be held January 16-17, 2013 at the Bolivar County Exposition Center in Cleveland, MS. There will be several Mississippi State University Researchers and Extension Specialist’s on hand to answer any questions you may have as well as over 100 agriculture-related exhibitors displaying the latest information and technologies available to producers. Additionally, there will be educational seminars on cotton, soybean, rice, corn, irrigation management and marketing.

One of these seminars will feature the On Target Application Academy. With several new herbicide technologies, such as Enlist and Roundup Extend, on the horizon proper application techniques will become imperative to ensuring effective control of weeds while minimizing off-target drift. To aid producers in preparing for these technologies BASF has graciously agreed to host an On Target Application Academy which will feature Dr. Bob Wolf, Professor Emeritus from Kansas State University, with over 25 years experience in application technology research. He will present information on proper nozzle selection, environmental impacts, and hands-on training with some of the latest technologies in spraying systems and equipment.
