2016 Mississippi County Meeting Schedule – Finalized

MSU Extension is hosting a series of meetings to be held throughout the state to prepare growers for the upcoming season.  These meetings will focus on market outlooks, variety selection, weed management, insect and plant disease management, and other current crop production topics.

The final schedule is as follows:

Jan 17 – Yazoo City – Extension Office – 3 pm

 Feb 2 – Clarksdale – 9 am – CPS

 Feb 13 – Natchez – Natchez Farm Supply – 12 pm

Feb 21 – Raymond – 9 am – Hinds Community College Sales Arena

Feb 21 – Canton – 3pm – Penn’s Catfish House (Planned Location)

Feb 22 – Greenwood – Elks Club – 9 am

Feb 23 – Baldwyn – Country Kitchen – 9 am

Feb 23 – Holly Springs  – Extension Office – 3 pm

Feb 27 – Lucedale – Rocky Creek Catfish Cottage – 10 am

Feb 28 – Pittsboro – 9 am – Extension Office

Feb 28 – New Albany – 3 pm – Extension Office

March 1 – Hamilton (Cotton and Peanuts) – 9 am – Community Center

March 7 – Grenada – Extension Office – 9 am
