Is there really a better time for a field day than July in Mississippi? We know it will be hot out there, but we wanted to create an opportunity to get producers, professionals, and crop consultants together on Tuesday, July 17th to discuss cover crop planting tips, experiences, and challenges to help prepare those who may be considering planting cover crops this fall. The field day will start at 10am at Big River Farms outside of Clarksdale, Mississippi and quickly move to the Clarksdale Country Club for additional presentations, lunch provided by Delta Precision and Local Seed Company, and discussion in the air conditioning. Those who are interested can earn CEU credits (1 crop management and 1 soil & water management) for attending the program. Full details, directions, and an agenda are attached. The program should wrap up by about 1pm. Please don’t hesitate to contact me directly if you have any questions.

To plan lunch accommodations, please RSVP to me via phone, text or email!

We look forward to seeing you there!
