Heliothine Trap Counts, August 3, 2023

Bollworm pheromone trap catches for the week were down from last week’s catches in the Delta, but catches were still substantial, suggesting plenty of eggs are being laid in susceptible crops. Traps in Northeast Mississippi were fairly steady compared to last week, showing less bollworm pressure than in the Delta.
