Bollworm trap counts were steady or lower in every county this week, which indicates that we are past the peak emergence from the generation that developed in corn. However, there were still plenty of moths caught, so significant egg pressure in vulnerable crops should be expected. Tobacco budworm trap counts remained low throughout the state.
